To use the bottle probe, allow the wine cellar enclosure to stabilize at the desired temperature for approximately 72 hours. Fill a normal-size wine bottle with water, insert the bottle probe, and place it in the cellar. Do not connect the probe until the bottle has had enough time to cool to the enclosure temperature. Once connected to the outlet on the face of the unit, the system’s on/off operation is controlled by the liquid temperature inside the bottle. Unplugging the bottle probe returns the system to the internal air sensor. The bottle probe cord is 5 feet long.
